Restoration
Details
The original
footprint of the home was preserved in the middle floor of the current
home, with the exception of the bay windows in the living room,
kitchen and family room. The coffered ceilings and windows in the
entry foyer and dining room, as well as the built-in cabinets in
the dining room and the two claw foot tubs in the children's rooms
are also original. Consulting on the remodel was Kenneth Cardwell,
retired Professor of Architecture, U.C. Berkeley and renowned historical
expert on Bay Area Craftsman design.
